Niranand Raum, Esq. is an Associate Attorney in the Los Angeles County office of Friedman + Bartoumian. As a member of our civil litigation group, Niranand represents our clients in a variety of matters including general liability, premises liability, transportation liability, personal injury, employment law, and insurance litigation, including coverage, bad faith, premium and deductible collection, and subrogation matters.
Niranand earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings College of the Law), and his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from the University of California, San Diego. As a law student, Niranand served as Executive Management Editor of the Hastings Environmental Law Journal and as a staff editor on the Hastings International and Comparative Law Review. He also served as a research assistant to two distinguished professors and clerked for Our Children’s Trust and the Center on Race, Poverty, and the Environment.
When not actively representing his clients, Niranand serves as Vice President of Sun Village Animal Rescue. In his free time, Niranand tends to a plethora of exotic plants, cares for his two dogs, dances ballroom, and explores the sights and flavors of Los Angeles.
