Heywood G. Friedman, Esq. is the founding attorney and managing partner of the Law Firm of Friedman + Bartoumian. He is recognized in the legal and insurance industries as a thought and action leader and premier practitioner of insurance law with an emphasis in the defense of workers’ compensation and liability claims. Heywood works with clients to make well-informed, thoughtful decisions, implement proactive measures and reach effective resolutions that take into consideration their business goals. Heywood received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles. While studying at Loyola, he served on Law Review and Moot Court, was admitted to the prestigious Saint Thomas More Law Honor Society and received several American Jurisprudence Awards.
Over his 35+ years practicing law, Heywood has provided litigation, regulatory, and transactional representation to many multinational and Fortune “Top 100” organizations, including the leading multi-line and specialty-line insurers.
