
Donna Lineberry, Esq. is a Senior Associate Attorney specializing in the defense of workers’ compensation claims. Donna has extensive litigation experience, with over 10 years’ experience as a Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney and over 5 years’ experience as a Public Defender.
Donna is skilled in managing WCAB litigation, cases in chief, AOE/COE disputes, expedited hearings, trials on the merits, lien matters, and complex contribution issues. Over her career, she has obtained mastery of all nature of discovery procedures, including QME evaluations and depositions of applicants, percipient and expert witnesses, and medical providers.
Raised in North Carolina, Donna started her career as a CPA, providing tax, financial, and audit services for a variety of entities before moving to Florida to work as a Senior Auditor for one of the “Big Eight” accounting firms. She then moved to California and pursued a law degree, graduating in 2004 from Chapman University School of Law. As a Public Defender, Donna zealously defended juveniles and adults in all types of criminal proceedings. Donna’s combined legal and business experience give her a unique perspective on defending workers’ compensation claims.
Donna enjoys working with both employers and insurance carriers, and she brings her experience as a CPA and auditor to provide cohesive representation throughout the claims-handling process. She maintains consistent, meaningful contact with claims professionals, risk and safety managers, and human resources executives to assess exposure and to develop and execute strategies to bring claims to prompt and cost-effective resolutions.
When she is not providing her clients with The Best Defense, Donna enjoys fostering cats and fixing up her 100-year-old house.
