Sarena Friedman, Esq.

Sarena Friedman, Esq. is a Senior Associate Attorney in this firm’s Sacramento office. Sarena’s areas of practice include general liability defense, civil litigation, employment & labor law, insurance law, business litigation, bad faith defense, subrogation, criminal defense, and workers’ compensation defense. Prior to joining this firm, Sarena served the people of California for over six years as a Deputy Public Defender in Ventura County and El Dorado County.

Sarena is a graduate of the Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law, where she distinguished herself as Secretary of the National Lawyers Guild and competed in the American Association for Justice’s nationwide Student Trial Advocacy Competition. She earned her Bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Northeastern University.

Sarena has extensive experience in advising clients, developing legal strategies, appearing in court in Northern and Southern California, assessing exposure, conducting depositions, negotiating settlements, and trial management. Sarena strongly believes in the importance of maintaining consistent, meaningful communication with her clients, and bringing each case to a prompt and cost-effective resolution.

When she is not providing her clients with The Best Defense, Sarena enjoys practicing yoga and watching true crime documentaries.
