Mr. Friedman received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications from California State University at Northridge. Mr. Friedman received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 1986, having been a member of the St. Thomas More Law Honor Society, and having received American Jurisprudence Awards in Civil Procedure, Torts, Contracts, Insurance Law and Entertainment Law. Mr. Friedman was admitted to the State Bar for the State of California in 1986.
Mr. Friedman speaks frequently at insurance industry functions and legal education seminars. Mr. Friedman is a member of the Conference of Insurance Counsel, the Defense Research Institute, the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the Workers' Compensation Defense Attorneys' Association.
In his spare time, Mr. Friedman, who is married with two children, also serves as a volunteer legal advisor to the National Hospital for Immunology and Respiratory Medicine in Denver, Colorado.
